每一年,香港的銀行也招聘超過幾萬人。表現好的前線銷售人員,平均收入是三至五萬元。

三五萬元,話多不多,話少也不算吧。如果家庭的收入增加,那對你的兒女父母的生活環境也有所改善。

如果你有AUM和客底,那轉工應該不難。但如果你要轉去最搵錢最有前途的國際大型銀行,做機構銷售員(Institutional sales)和私人銀行家(private banker),你一定要做夠準備。

有位成功的女私人銀行家跟我說,現在很難請人!我問她,現在經濟還不是很好,環球金融海嘯餘波未了,為甚麼會這麼難去請人呢?

她說,要找一些大學生新人不難,最難是找一些presentable,有三幾年經驗,懂流利英語和普通話,能代表公司的人材。很多申請人的英語水準低下,很難帶出去見客和高層,尤其是在一些新加坡和印度的客人面前開會,英語麻麻會很容易在溝通上出錯。現在很多財經產品銷售法例,如果表達不夠清楚準確,會連累公司踩了地雷也不知道。

很多國際大型銀行的HR和hiring manager,對於本地銀行的人員的英文水準,不多不少也有一種懷疑的態度。你的CV,其實是和她們的第一次見面。如果你開好個頭,得到面試的機會便大大提升。相反,如果你的resume不倫不類,分分鐘招致事業上的損失。


改寫resume十日見效果

寫銀行工的resume,用字與內容重點和其他行業有很大不同。銀行CV重點不在於你擁有的專業考試和牌照(因為所有申請人也有同樣的資歷),而是你在過去每份工上有甚麼過人的地方,以及跑數成功達標的經驗等。

銀行前線銷售人員的工作壓力大,一定要達標。銀行會尋找一些有高溝通能力,和親和力的人。而由於是對人的工作,所有過去所有的人際技巧訓練,包括是公司舉辦的或工餘的自學,你也可以寫進去。

如果你申請銀行工而想立即獲得面試機會,你的resume必須包括:

  • 現在的客戶總AUM
  • 客戶數量
  • 過去成功達標的經驗
  • 財務產品知識
  • 對於風險管理的認知
  • 最後才是專業考試和牌照
